Talits Estate is a family-owned cellar door, vineyard and luxury holiday home in the Broke Fordwich winemaking region of the Hunter Valley.
The estate sits on 50 acres of beautifully crafted gardens, olive trees and meticulously managed and award-winning Merlot and Shiraz vines.
The vineyard is James Halliday rated and has won
multiple awards in boutique and Australian/NZ wine shows.The Winemaker Daniel Binet, has been twice nominated for The Wine Society’s Young Winemaker of the Year and Hunter Valley Rising Star and recently the Hunter Wine Excellence scholarship.
The property was designed by French architects and constructed by world-class craftsmen utilising the finest materials and adorned with European fittings, Talits is a true Provençal masterpiece.
Located in the most tranquil corner of the Hunter Valley, yet only 15 minutes from the commercial hub of Pokolbin.

Daniel Binet is fast becoming one of the Hunter Valley’s most recognised young winemakers.
Daniel has been a winemaker for over 17 years in the Hunter Valley wine region of New South Wales, Australia.
Most of Daniel’s life has been dedicated to the growing, cultivation and making of wine. He has a natural palate for wine, which allows him to create wines with personality, structure and finesse.
Daniel has been twice nominated for The Wine Society’s Young Winemaker of the Year and Hunter Valley Rising Star and recently the Hunter Wine Excellence scholarship.
Daniel has extensive wine show judging experience, regionally, nationally and regularly travels internationally to judge, most recently to Shanghai and New Zealand.
Under Dan's careful craftsmanship, Talits Estate has been awarded various awards at prestigious wine shows such as the Hunter Valley Boutique Winemakers Show and the Australian, New Zealand Boutique Wine Show.
We feel very lucky to have Dan on the team and adore the wines he's creating with us.

The Chardonnay used in this wine is sourced from 40yr old vines.
This Blanc de Blancs is fresh and lively with the palate displaying citrus, green apple and grapefruit characters with some yeasty overtones.
It has a creamy mousse, a fine elegant bead and a crisp long finish. The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle & was aged on lees for 7 years before riddling & disgorge.

This elegant and medium bodied Merlot was
produced by award-winning winemaker, Daniel Binet.
The wine is the result of a 10-day skin contact open
vat fermentation, followed by a secondary malolactic fermentation and maturation in French Ermitage oak barriques over 15 months.
The nose and palate suggest plum, blackberry and
mint chocolate whilst having balanced tannins
and acidity.
This wine can be enjoyed now, but will develop over
